Principal's Welcome

Principal Paredes

Welcome, Anza families!

I hope you all safely enjoyed your summer and are as excited as we are to begin another school year.

For those families who are new to our school, we’re so happy to have you! In case we have not met, I’m Alberto Paredes, principal here at Anza.

I’ve served the Anza community as principal since 2016. I am honored to be a part of a school and community that is united around its children. I am especially thrilled to be a part of a distinguished group of teachers and staff committed to providing the best possible education for every child in a safe, learning, respectful, and nurturing environment. I am truly fortunate to be part of such a remarkable team. With your partnership our students will continue to excel. I strongly believe that it is important for parents, school, staff, and students to work together to maintain a positive educational atmosphere in which each student feels safe and secure. I strongly believe that if we work together, the students at Anza will continue to excel both socially and academically.

For all of our families, we’re thrilled to see the full return of our students. In order to do so safely, we will have COVID-19 safety policies in effect, so please be sure to familiarize yourselves with them here. Namely, all students are required to wear masks on our school sites. If you’re able, please send your student to school with a spare mask.  (Insert other info you’d like families to know, add whatever details you need to) Thank you to each of you for your cooperation as we work to keep each other safe.

If you have not yet, I encourage you to check out our back-to-school page, which has all the information you might need, such as links to calendars, schedules, and resources, and information on our Back-to-School Night, start and end times, important dates, and more.

If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our school site. We want to be sure you have everything you need to start the school year off right.

I look forward to seeing our students and families around campus. Let’s make this a great year at Anza!

Sincerely,

Alberto Paredes
