Growing Great

Kinder - 2nd Grade Parents:

Do you have a green thumb? Are you able to make a garden grow? The Anza garden plots need a few good volunteers.  Come out for an hour or two and help maintain the school's gardens. Kids are welcome to help, but must stay with parents in the garden area.

The gardening program is an enrichment activity the school has implemented to teach our children about science, caring for the earth, and so much more. We are always in need of volunteers, so if you have not signed up yet but are interested, please contact Claudine Cooper (cooperclaudine@yahoo.com) or ask a teacher about helping out with the garden.

3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Parents:

GROWING GREAT NEEDS PARENT VOLUNTEERS! The Growing Great Nutrition Program introduces students to the benefits of eating healthy. The short monthly lessons are taught by parent volunteers.  If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please send an email to Claudine Cooper (cooperclaudine@yahoo.com) or ask your child's teacher about helping with Growing Great.
